Burgers are crowned king of fast food, owing to their great flavor and versatility. This means you can always choose the toppings for your burger to make it awesome every time. Since the world is going green and heading toward healthier, more eco-friendly eating habits, it is a good idea to try topping your burgers—whether they are made with beef or beans—with a lot of vegetables.

Here’s a few of our favorite toppings:

TOMATO
Tomatoes are rich in lycopene, which is well-known for its medicinal properties. Tasty alone or you can slice them in thick pieces and combine them with mozzarella cheese and basil leaves to get a perfect burger ready in minutes.
